Kakadu National Park

From cascading waterfalls, rugged escarpments and aboriginal rock art to giant crocodiles and exotic birdlife. Kakadu National Park will change how you see the world. Experience the magic of this ancient land which is only a few hours from Darwin.

A natural wonderland

Kakadu National Park is a timeless place. Contemporary visitors experience pristine landscapes that have changed little over thousands of years, and an ancient Aboriginal culture that dates back more than 50,000 years.

The Park is home to over 1,700 plant species, a quarter of all Australian freshwater fish species and over one third of Australian bird species. In fact Kakadu was also voted number one bird-watching destination by Australian Geographic. For all this Kakadu has been listed as a World Heritage site for its cultural and natural values.
