Saffrron is an exciting addition to Darwin's eating scene. Based in Parap, just four kilometres from Darwin city, this is a self-serve, fully licensed restaurant that offers patrons a relaxed, casual dining experience in a tropical atmosphere.

On the menu you'll find mouth-watering authentic Indian cuisine that includes traditional Tandoori, North and South Indian dishes. The well-known owner and chef specialises in designing healthy food with simple, clean and fresh flavours.

As well as memorable food, Saffrron is winning accolades for its environmental efforts. All of Saffrron Restaurant's dine-in meals are served on biodegradable plates and bowls made from 100 per cent sugar cane fibre. The restaurant was recognised for its green initiatives as a finalist in the 2008 Melaleuca Awards.

Opening times:

  • Open for lunch Tuesday to Friday from 11.30am to 2pm, dinner Tuesday to Sunday from 6pm. Sunday brunch from 11am to 2pm. Closed from mid December to mid January.
